Lee Pollero is just a city boy. Born and raised in San Diego. He took the acting train to Theatre Unleashed. Recently graduating from CSU Chico, with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, Lee has decided to try his hand at acting in Los Angeles. He also can not believe he lucked into such an amazingly talented theatre company as TU. Lee has been taught in the light of theorists such as Stanislavski, Meisner, Boal, Brecht, Artaud, and Bogart, as well as having both formal and informal improv training from Comedy Sportz, Improv Olympic, Second City, and work in Viewpoints. Favorite roles include (but are not limited to); Judas Iscariot in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Sir Donald in Two Gentlemen of Lebowski, King Sextimus in Once Upon A Mattress (Twice), Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, and Explosive Knuckle Duster in UBU ROI.
Theatre Unleashed is a non-profit theatre company founded by nine friends in 2008. A formerly nomadic troupe, Theatre Unleashed has now taken up residence on The Belfry Stage, Upstairs @ The Crown in North Hollywood. The company specializes in a variety of genres and works in Los Angeles' Intimate (sub-99 seat) Theatre Scene. From classical to original, performance art to sketch, comedy to drama - TU tackles it all. Hailed by the critics as "L.A.'s Most Ambitious Theatre Company," Theatre Unleashed will stop at nothing on its mission to create something worth seeing.
