Wendy Gough is a Los Angeles based theatre artist.  She has been seen in LA as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Desdemona in Othello, the title role in Joan Silsby's The Devil's Bride, Esther Summerson in the critically acclaimed Charles Dickens' Bleak House, Imogen in Cymbeline, and multiple roles in Transports of the Heart, including Calamity Jane and Groucho Marx.  Other favorite roles include Kate in Taming of the Shrew, Dorine in Tartuffe  and Helena in All’s Well that Ends Well.  She made her directorial debut at Write Act Repertory with Diane Grant's One-Act Sex and Violence, and continued her directing career with The Masque of the Red Death, Driving Rain, and Clyde Derrick's Teshuvah.  She also appeared in The Trial, for which she was Assistant Director and Maskmaker, creating over 60 masks for the production.  Wendy's masks have appeared in numerous productions in Los Angeles and around the world. In 2005 and 2008 Wendy staged her solo show, The Divine Madness of Isabella, about the great commedia dell'Arte actress, Isabella Andreini, for which she was awarded the Women in Theatre Red Carpet Award.

Wendy holds a Master’s Degree from the Hilberry Repertory in Detroit.  She has also studied at the Dell’Arte School of Physical Theatre, and is a graduate of The University of California at Santa Barbara.

Wendy is a member of the Screen Actors' Guild and Actors' Equity.

When not on stage, Wendy is an avid gardener, dog-lover and recovering Martial Artist.
